Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of near-realtime, embedded, user interface software applications utilizing Java. Assistant Manager, Audio / Visual Engineer Summary:
Six Flags is seeking a Full-time assistant manager to oversee the parks audio/visual systems for Six Flags St. Louis. This position is a roll your sleeves up position designed to manage and support the local area audio and Six Flags TV systems' hardware and software for Six Flags St. Louis. This position provides front line technical, analytical and troubleshooting support for all audio and SFTV operations in coordination with the Corporate Audio Manager and the Director, Interactive Services.
Responsibilities of Assistant Manager, Audio / Visual Engineer Includes:
Understand the system design, layout, construction and signal flow for both audio and visual systems as provided by the Corporate Manager Audio and Director Interactive Services.
Understand and troubleshoot where applicable both upgraded and legacy audio / SFTV hardware.
Monitor all audio hardware ensuring clarity of speakers, source players playing appropriately, etc.
Document level requirements, where both legacy and media matrix feed locations including SFTV.
Manage and monitor the performance and functionality of all audio / SFTV hardware including SFTV picture resolution, sizing, etc.
Enforce and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the support of audio / SFTV hardware and software as directed by the Corporate Audio Manager and Director, Interactive Services. Ensure compliance with the Six Flags Audio Visual Operations Guidelines.
Provide software and hardware support for on-site operational, custom, or 3rd party software, and Corporate supported systems as required.
Provide strict adherence to the corporate security policies and procedures.
Become proficient in support of other platforms, architectures, and systems used by the Company in support of audio / SFTV.
Work with IS Manager and Six Flags Corporate in planning, executing, coordinating, and verification of software and hardware installation, implementation, testing, and upgrades, to ensure quality of systems operating and performance (e.g.: adds/moves/changes).
Interface with the local departments for support (maintenance, entertainment, corporate alliance, etc)
Provide support and advice concerning current and future needs for the Park.
Organizational Structure:
Reports to the IS Manager.
